On the 21st of February, our Vice President Lara Botta was appointed as the new Vice President of Assolombarda’s Piccola Industria Committee (Assolombarda Entrepreneurial Association’s SMEs), one of Italy’s most influential business associations, where she will focus on expanding SMEs into international markets.
Assolombarda is the largest territorial association of the entire entrepreneurial system in Italy and it is also part of Confindustria (Italian Entrepreneurial Association). Its mission is to safeguard the interests of businesses in their interactions with political institutions, social and political organizations and it offers a wide range of services to its member companies.
Lara Botta’s appointment is part of the newly elected leadership team of the Piccola Industria Committee, led by Mattia Macellari as President, and supported by Marco Grecchi, Leopoldo Longobardi, Valerio Berra and Mattia Adani as Vice Presidents as well. This Committee plays a vital role in supporting SMEs, together they will work to strengthen the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in Italy and beyond.
As Vice President, Lara, will use her expertise in sustainable packaging and global expansion, while reinforcing BOTTA EcoPackaging’s commitment to eco-friendly solutions and international development. This new role aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering international growth and strategic partnerships, while shaping a more sustainable future, because at BOTTA EcoPackaging, we believe that sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.
