Lara Botta, VP of BOTTA EcoPackaging, newly appointed President of Unione GCT Milano, is set to drive sustainability in the packaging and graphic industries.
We are pleased to announce that our Vice President, Lara Botta, has been appointed as the next President of Unione GCT Milano, the group that represents the graphic, paper converting, and packaging industries in Milan. She will officially take office in July 2025, leading the organization for the 2025-2029 term.
Founded in 1946, Unione GCT Milano is a key player in the packaging industry. As part of Assolombarda and Assografici, it provides targeted labor relations, training, and industry-specific informational services and also privileged access to the Confindustria system. The association is also an affiliate member of the Federazione Carta e Grafica.
‘’I am honored by the trust placed in me,’’ said Lara commenting on the vote. ‘’My goal is to make the Union of Graphic Designers and Carton Manufacturers even more central in the lives of our sector’s members.’’
Lara’s designation was officially approved by the General Council of Unione GCT Milano on February 25, and she will succeed the current President, Tiziano Galuppo, in July, after presenting her strategic program in May.
