BOTTA EcoPackaging is the protagonist of an article in the magazine focused on sustainability “The Good in Town” thanks to the sustainable packaging innovations made by the company in recent years.
More specifically, Lara Botta, Business Development and Innovation Manager of the packaging company, who was awarded the Tecnovisionaire Award 2020 for having interpreted the Circular Economy through innovation, tells how the company has made use of the philosophy of “Frugal Innovation” to realize its own innovations in the field of EcoPackaging development and sustainable paper-based packaging.
In addition to product innovations, we mention the innovations in the technological field. Among the various innovations introduced by BOTTA EcoPackaging, we remember the online portal Instapack.me which allowed the company to be mentioned among the 100 European Digital Champions of the Financial Times; and the Pallet Calculator, a free service featured in Packaging Technology Today and Packaging Connections, provided by BOTTA EcoPackaging, which allows users to evaluate the efficiency of their load palletizing, thus reducing the waste of space, the number of necessary transports and, consequently, the costs. But, more importantly, thus reducing the resulting pollution.
In addition, Lara Botta, for a long time Gender Equality Advocate committed to reducing gender stereotypes, outlines how important the concept of “Diversity” has been and still is in all the corporate innovations carried out over the years by Botta Packaging.
