Once again this year, BOTTA EcoPackaging has been selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and internalisation of Italian companies and Uni-Italia, for the ‘Invest Your Talent in Italy’ project.
This programme offers Italian companies the opportunity to welcome a foreign talent, already graduated and trained by a Master’s degree in Italy, into their team with a view to internalisation. Invest Your Talent in Italy gives the opportunity to open up to new markets. This is possible thanks to an exchange of human capital that promotes business development.
At BOTTA EcoPackaging, this year, we welcomed an Ethiopian student from the Milan Polytechnic for four months for the Invest Your Talent in Italy programme. The student, Selamawit Melaku Tegegne, is pursuing a master’s degree in design here in Italy. She brought her innovative point of view by contributing to the design of new products, the creation of marketing campaigns for brand and product communication.
Her contribution has been very valuable to the company, not only in terms of the work she has done, but especially in terms of diversity. Welcoming a student from the Invest Your Talent in Italy programme allows us to have a team that is culturally diverse not only in terms of skills, background and gender, it has also allowed a cultural exchange that is a valuable opportunity to improve and innovate.
At BOTTA EcoPackaging, we firmly believe that opportunities for virtuous collaborations between universities and companies, such as the IYT programme, are the key to success in creating and training the talents of the future.
