Lara Botta, our Chief Innovation Officer and Business Development Manager, gave an interview to “Lombardia Economy“, the magazine about the trends of the Lombard economy.
Our VP spoke about the importance of innovation to meet the dynamic and unpredictable needs of the market, the implementation of e-commerce and above all the importance of designing sustainable packaging. Through our sustainable paper packaging, Comieco (National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging) has granted us the recognition of “experts in sustainable packaging”. Furthermore, in 2020, our VP received the “Techno-Visionary” award for the interpretation of the circular economy through innovation, applying the “frugal innovation” philosophy. According to this idea with “less” you can do “more”, so we ought to combine and apply frugality to innovation.
In addition, Lara Botta underscores the value of diversity and gender equality, an essential requirement to reduce the gender gap and create new jobs in the STEM area.
